Being a start-up, finance is a streamlined function and the Finance Manager will have the opportunity to build the function up around them and make the role their own. Description

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Finance, this Finance Manager role will be a broad, hands on and varied position taking ownership of the day to day running of the finance function and will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Ownership of all day to day accounting
  • Interacting with key stakeholders - Ops, Sales, Tech etc.
  • Delivery of Month End Process, Financial Statements and Investor Packs
  • Automation and Process Improvements - deliver automation of processes as well as ongoing controls improvements as well as implementation of new systems
  • Ad Hoc Projects - continuous revision and re-design of processes in line with rapid expansion of the business

    What's Needed

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ICAS, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach - need to have the curiosity to question processes and deliver change
  • Tech or Start-Up background beneficial (desire and drive more important)
  • Highly Excel & systems proficient - deliver automation of manual procedures + assist with implementation of new systems
  • Able to commute to City of London
