Michael Page Treasury are currently recruiting for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join the finance and treasury function of a major Infrastructure provider based in Central London.

Client Details

This role will sit within the Financial Control team which is responsible for the group's long-term financial planning and leading the financial reporting with shareholders.

Description

The tasks and responsibilities of the Corporate Finance Analyst include:

  • Maintaining and operating the company's financial model. Ensuring the financial model accurately reflects historic data, the most up to date operational projections and testing a range of outcomes based on thorough analysis of all relevant risks.
  • Producing relevant analysis to support the company's annual financing plan and quarterly financing reviews that are provided to the Treasury Committee and the Board.
  • Responsible for the relationship management and financial reporting with shareholders.
  • Provide the key financial analysis required by the Board ahead of approving distributions to Shareholders.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with the company's requirements under its financing agreements.
  • Producing ad-hoc financial analysis for a range of stakeholders including rating agencies, lenders and equity investors.
  • Support the company's financial Public Relations activity by providing requested financial information.
  • Develop and document new processes and embed them in the organisation as required.

Profile

To be considered for the Corporate Finance Analyst position you require:

  • Experience in asset valuations and familiar with performance reporting metrics such as IRR and liquidity ratios
  • Experience in interpreting legal documents to understand financial reporting and compliance requirements
  • Experience in Corporate Finance practices
  • Experience in infrastructure projects
  • A professional qualification (ideally CFA) is desirable
  • Strong project-finance modelling skills
  • Strong use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills and be able to explain complex financial topics
  • Ability to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Flexible, proactive with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge in derivatives instruments such as options, swaps and forward rate agreements

Job Offer

The package on offer is circa. £65,000 plus benefits.
