Finance Business Partner - Property

This is a newly-created position due to the growth of the business; the position is highly-commercial and will give you access to all levels of the business.

Company

PE-backed high-growth property development business who carry out a fully integrated service; purchasing land, developing and renting out spaces. They have an aggressive but achievable growth plan and are entrepreneurial so the Finance Business Partner will be exposed to a range of tasks and people.

Role

Commercial role supporting the wider business with making decisions through tracking projects, forecasting, modelling and monitoring KPIs. This role reports directly to the CFO and you will be supported and given training to take on more and more responsibilities.

Duties:

• Build relationships with property developers and directors to help drive sales and reduce costs
• Maintain budget and forecast financial model as well as preparing monthly board meeting finance papers
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Maintain KPIs and report to business
• Supervise and mentor Financial Accountant
• Review systems and controls and make recommendations
• Supervise activities such as bank recs, AP, AR, VAT return preparation
• Liaise with auditors at year-end
• Support CFO with project appraisals to support debt and equity funding applications
• Ad hoc analysis

Next steps

Successful candidates will be ACA qualified either straight from practice or with some in-house experience. An interest in property/ real estate
