Financial Controller - Real Estate

The team are experts in their field and work closely together to ensure that the business continues to grow. The finance team are heavily relied upon to help make the best decisions for the company and sit with the teams to ensure they partner well.

Role

Senior position within the finance team, leading the day-to-day activities as well as carrying out ad hoc analysis tasks to assist senior management drive decisions. This role reports to the Head of Property and will give you exposure to operational areas of the business.

  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of management and statutory financial accounts.
  • Key liaison with group reporting department to ensure consolidated accounts are delivered on time.
  • Ensuring robust financial controls are in place and adhered to.
  • Ensuring that our financial systems are robust, compliant and can support current activities and future growth.
  • Board Reporting.
  • Assisting with group treasury management/cash management and forecasting/budgeting.
  • Working with senior teams, challenging assumptions and providing financial analysis and guidance.
  • Motivate and manage a finance team, responsible for training and development.

Next steps

You must have strong academics and be ACA/ACCA qualified. Ideally you will have experience of working within the real estate/investment industry and have experience of financial and management reporting. You will have great communication skills, you will be enthusiastic and energetic, commercially aware and operationally astute.

Qube/Cognos/Cognos TM1/Power BI/Strong Excel skills are desirable.
