Senior European Statutory Finance Manager

Our client is an established luxury brand and a market leader globally. The role plays a crucial part to Senior management and will report into VP level to their New York offices. The role will offer a huge amount of exposure, opportunity and to be part of a fast paced office, along with International business partnering.

Your role;

• Lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements to bridge US GAAP results
• Lead interaction with external auditors in producing audited statutory financial statements and proactively developing the optimal way to respond to audit inquiries involving complies issues
• Assist with tax calculations for quarterly and annual US GAAP, including preparation and analysis of company standard tax reporting packs
• Monitor the transfer pricing policy across Europe, along with customs and treasury related matters
• Provide support with forecasting transfer pricing
• Working closely with UK, US and European Finance managers
• Support the VP of Transfer Pricing with transfer pricing audits in European jurisdictions
• Ensure compliance with key internal controls in support of the Company's financial reporting process

Key skills;

• Strong technical accounting skills
• Essential ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 8 years tax / accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP reporting principles
• Internal control experience
• Retail experience (but not essential)
