Senior Financial Accountant

Highly innovative multinational group (manufacturing and distribution sector) have a rewarding new opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant.

Your role will be varied and challenging and you will enjoy working within a collaborative, continuous improvement environment.

You will manage a team and be responsible for their development & coaching (previous experience of leading others is required).

Your remit will encompass overhead reporting, control and management and you will enjoy partnering with operational colleagues to assist in enhancing the awareness of overspend spend / variances to expectation / forecasting.

You will be someone who enjoys developing robust financial controls and providing reporting that can be absolutely relied upon in terms of credibility, accuracy and timeliness.

You will play an integral role in supporting the FC to manage all aspects of the month end close for a £100m+ turnover business unit.

You will need:

A professional qualification (ACCA / ACA or equivalent)

A previous track record of successfully managing a finance team (across transactional or financial accounting areas ideally)

A demonstrable record of improving controls and developing overhead reporting to provide better insight and conclusions around overspend for non finance and finance colleagues.

A positive and can do attitude and a keenness to work in a fast-paced, innovative and growing group of companies.
