Dartmouth Partners have been retained with a boutique consulting business to find a Finance Director to drive their continual success moving forwards. The company specialises in providing strategic corporate finance advice and services to a number of FTSE 100 businesses and has achieved momentous success since they were founded 9 years ago.
To help drive future plans the business needs a solid finance head to drive commercial finance and be a true business partner to the equity partners of the company.
Key Duties
- Ensure that there is meaningful analysis of the key KPI's,
- Provide strategic and commercial support to a variety of stakeholders and the Exec team
- Partner with the CEO & COO to bring the strategic vision of the business to life
- Take an active role in developing and driving the strategic focus of the organisation
- Manage and mentor a small team
- Monitor compliance with appropriate expenditure control/authorisation rules
- Run Budgeting and Forecasting for the business
- Prepare financial updates to external investors
- Responsible for VAT, Tax and partnership accounts
- Contribute to due diligence on proposed acquisitions and subsequent financial integration
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working in a partner led environment
- 10 to 15 years experience working in commercially facing finance roles
- Partnership Accounting experience
- Working in a financial services or consulting business would be a distinct advantage
