Head of Finance / Financial Controller

Accountant, Darlington, salary circa £45,000

Your new company
An established SME business who are embarking on an exciting period of growth that has the potential to transform the local community. They are looking to appoint a Head of Finance to lead the accounts department and influence the future success of the business.

Your new role
Reporting in to the MD you will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function, from overseeing a small finance team to presenting the monthly accounts at Board. You will take the lead on the budgeting process and future capital expenditure projects whilst at the same time ensuring the company has robust financial controls and processes in place.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant with a services based background, ideally from the leisure sector. You will be passionate about what you do and see the benefit in finance having an influence across the whole organisation.
