Senior Management Accountant

As one of the largest International Media Broadcasters in the UK, our client is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join the business. You will support the Senior Manager and the wider team. You will become an integral part of a business which offers excellent career progression. Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for producing accurate reporting of monthly management accounts
• Preparing and recording of group consolidation journals
• Reviewing business activity and highlighting variances and reporting this to senior management
• Produce and review quarterly deliverables including disclosure packs and debt compliance
• Reconciliation of selected key balance sheet accounts during the month and at month end
• Liaising with auditors on the year-end process
• Timely and accurate preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with UK GAAP
• Review of budget and mid-year forecasts for all UK and NL Holdings Companies
• Collaborate with Central Department heads to help compile forecasts

Skills needed:

• Qualified accountant ACA / AMCA / ACCA
• Previous statutory and management experience
• Strong reconciliation skills with the ability to use automated systems to improve reconciliation efficiency
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and planning
• Advanced Excel manipulation skills
