Financial Controller

£50-100,000 per annum + bonus

A well-established, award-winning London-based design practice, Luke Hughes & Company design, engineer, manufacture and deliver exceptional bespoke furniture for notable buildings, the world’s leading design architects and prestigious client organisations worldwide.

This is a business-critical senior position within a small but ambitious company, representing an exciting opportunity for an individual with strategic focus, financial astuteness and integrity to help lead the future of the company. Acting as business partner to the Chief Executive, you will set financial strategy and lead the day to day management of the Finance Function. Future development prospects are excellent, and for the right individual rapid advancement to Finance Director will be achievable.

Relevant accounting body qualifications will be required, as will the ability to engage effectively and directly with the Board and high-level stakeholders. With interests worldwide including a wholly owned subsidiary in China, experience in engaging with overseas suppliers and clients will be an advantage, as would previous experience of fund-raising.
