Qualified Finance Manager job near Chester paying up to £50,000.


Hays are working closely with a leading business in the Chester area as they seek to appoint a qualified Finance Manager. This rapidly growing and cash rich company has won numerous awards for innovation and have a clear growth plan in place which will see them expanding across the UK and developing operations overseas.

The Finance Manager is a newly created position to bridge the gap between the Financial Controller and the expanding accounts team. The role will manage three people initially and include the following duties -

• Control of balance sheet, accruals, prepayments and general ledger
• Production of accurate Management Accounts for multiple entities and consolidations
• Produce accurate individual and consolidated financial statements liaising with external accountants
• Support with investor reports in line with agreed timescales
• Support the Financial Controller in producing monthly board packs
• Ownership of all balance sheet reconciliations
• Support with the budget process

We are actively seeking qualified accountants who have either trained in Practice or Industry on the ascent of their career who can demonstrate hands on accounting skills and broad experience. Previous experience with either a foreign parent company or overseas operations would be useful. You should posses an enquiring mindset and seek to make efficiencies in processes and embrace new systems.
