COMMERCIAL FINANCE ANALYST

Are you a commercially minded analyst looking for their next move? Realy excited to be working with an expanding FMCG client on the outskirts of Leeds.

The Commercial Analyst will be accountable for the delivery of commercial insight and support to the Business.

The role is a Business Partner to the Account Managers and Senior Account Managers to ensure the integrity of the commercial data is correct and to support the business in making the right trading decisions.

The role is also responsible for ensuring all central finance commercial requirements are completed and to adopt a continuous improvement approach.

They will have worked in a fast paced environment with a multitude of stakeholders and be able to influence. They will have demonstrated commercial acumen and have some central finance background. The role reports into the Commercial Finance Manager.

Experience required:

• Experience working within a Commercial Finance Function.
• Experience of Management Accounts.
• Marketing experience preferable but not essential.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of financial modelling.
• Demonstrate an ability to operate in a fast paced financial reporting environment.
• Ability to analyse and evaluate data and information and use this to take appropriate action.
• Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Work effectively in collaboration cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and deliver business objectives.
• Ability to make decisions even with incomplete or limited information.
• Experience of project management.
• A flexible outlook with good problem solving skills.
• Ability to explain and present complex and / or technical issues clearly, accurately and simply.
