A fast track, high growth, entrepreneurial business with strong private equity backing are seeking to recruit a Group Financial Controller into a newly created position. The business are a trusted partner to an ever-expanding client portfolio and pride themselves on exceptional delivery to their customers through core values which include simplicity, innovation and integrity.

The business has experienced positive organic growth throughout 2019 and are set to kick start the next phase of their development in Q4 and into 2020 and beyond. The business plan for the next 3 years includes a desire to increase headcount and continue to drive revenue forward while continuing to make acquisitions where appropriate.

The Board has identified the need to create a new position for a Group Financial Controller/ Head of Finance to lead a small team in their corporate HQ based close to Beaconsfield, working closely with the Directors and Senior Leadership team and taking a entrepreneurial view on driving long term value.

You will take ownership and responsibility of the company's finance function, and will play a vital role in driving the finance team forward. You will work closely with the team to ensure the accurate and efficient running of the department, meeting deadlines, providing relevant information, and delivering innovative solutions. You will also get heavily involved in a number of key commercial initiatives, improvements on process/ systems.

This is a superb opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to understand all areas of the business and contribute towards maximising business revenue and profitability. The candidate will be responsible for delivering the core accounting and key strategic management information to various stakeholders across the business. Additionally, the role will support key business directors in various duties.

Those who have worked within a fast track SME business especially that within the financial or business services arena would hold a distinct advantage.
