Tax specialist firm in Altrincham seeking Personal Tax Manager- £35,000-£45,000

A Tax specialist firm based in Altrincham. Founded almost 18 years ago this firm has gone from strength to strength in growing organically and is continuing to do so. This firm offers both compliance and advisory services for both personal and corporate tax clients across the country, in addition to more specialist areas and tax investigation work.

Your new role
As a personal tax manager you will manage a varied client base made up of private clients, high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs in particular. You will predominantly be responsible for their compliance matters in addition to the management, training and delegation for 3/4 more junior members of staff. You may also assist with ad-hoc tax planning on matters relating but not limited to, capital gains , wills and inheritance tax planning. You will establish and maintain close client relationships and be technically astute in order to spot any advisory/planning opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent technical knowledge in personal tax compliance in addition to a working knowledge of managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients. The successful candidate will come from a reputable practice and ideally posses tax planning experience and a CTA qualification. You will have excellent communication and client facing skills in order to maintain client relationships, in addition to people management experience.

In return for your efforts, you will receive a highly competitive salary ranging from between £35,000-£45,000 dependent on experience and 25 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday.
