My client, Public Sector client, based in Exeter, has an immediate requirement for an experienced Business Partner. This is a unique role, working on a new project, requiring excellent relationship management skills.

In this role you will:

• Be a key liaison between two organisations working together for the first time to bring about a new focus.
• Bring together financial data from both parties to develop a new budget
• Work with key stakeholders in each organisation to enable managers to better understand the finances of the project, ensuring that appropriate challenge is provided and that budget holders are in a position to fully account for their business decisions.
• Provide appropriate information to the project lead to enable them to fully report on the financial position
• Liaising with colleagues outside of finance to ensure that there is clear alignment between operational and financial performance reporting
• Provide comprehensive reports detailing variances from budget and providing advice on budget management

The ideal candidate will need to have:

• Significant experience of analysing Financial performance, preferably within a public sector environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent IT experience
• Ability to provide constructive challenge to the highest levels of management
