Payroll Assistant
A progressive facility management business are looking to bring on a full time payroll assistant for their very friendly team. You'll be directly reporting into the Head of Finance and self-managing the whole payroll function for their 290 employees. The business has streamlined a lot of their current processes and now want to bring on an experienced payroll professional as a replacement to carry on the good work although you will be required to assist with other finance duties such as invoice processing and paying suppliers. As a permanent employee you will enjoy a very generous 25 days holiday, pension and the chance to join a growing business.
Payroll Assistant Duties:
• Administration of monthly payroll for 290 employees
• Distribution of payslips
• Recording sickness and absence
• Liaising with Area Manager to obtain accurate time sheets
• Processing starters and leavers onto the payroll system including administration of new starter paperwork, DBS checks, Visa checks, P45 & P60
• Administration of SSP / SMP and RTI for HMRC
• Auto enrolment pension processing
• Management of staff holiday
• Processing supplier invoices and responsible for payment runs
• Bank reconciliations
Payroll Assistant Requirements:
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Sage 200 experience but not essential
• Good written and verbal communication
• PAYE and NI
