Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting a Company Accountant for an innovative business in Leeds city centre.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this key appointment will assist with driving the company forward and improving the processes and systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant looking to work in a dynamic environment.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
-Preparation of monthly management accounts
-Budgeting and forecasting
-Conducting any related analysis for the senior management team
-Maintenance of all accounting records
-Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
-Credit Control, responsible for sales ledger, generation of invoices, credit notes
-Weekly processing of electronic time sheets for sub-contractors
-Sales Invoice and Self Bill Purchase Invoice generation
-Importing sales and purchase invoices into Xero
-Monthly Internal Employee payroll and expenses
-Commission payment calculations
-Processing payments
-Year-End PAYE documentation
-Review and improvement of systems and processes
The successful Finance Manager will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
-Able to build strong working relationships
-Think on their feet
-Driven and self-motivated
-Good systems skills (ideal experience with XERO & MS Excel)
