Commercial Analyst

BTG is supporting an online retail organisation in their search for a Commercial Analyst to act as intermediary between their sales, operations and marketing divisions.

The Role

The role of Commercial Analyst is integral to the origination to increase business effectiveness across several of the most cost and profit oriented business areas.

My client is looking to secure a talented Commercial Analyst who understands the wider commercial benefit of viable profit enhancing information, which in "real time" adds value and under pins a competitive pricing strategy, process efficiencies and competitor analysis.

As Commercial Finance Business Analyst, you will be in a pivotal role within the business increase the control measures around budgeting and forecasting procedures. You will have exposure to the wider finance and none-finance functions, ensuring that all variables from internal and external operations are taken into account.

This Will Include:

• Profit Optimisation.
• Champion "Best Practice" supporting Sales and Retail Teams.
• Financial Modelling.
• Internal Operational Review.
• Accounting variances to be plotted on flash report / Monthly / Annual
• KPI Creation and Delivery.
  

The successful candidate will engage with internal stakeholders across the organisation and will therefore require excellent communication skills which can be used to demonstrate the commercial value of finance.

Your Profile

My client is looking for dynamic, ambitions candidate who is intent on establishing themselves within the industry. A qualified accountant (ACA or CIMA) who has the ability to communicate at a high level, build relationships, develop processes, and understand the necessity of Finance in an internal and external stake-holding facing position.

Salary & Benefits

Suitable candidates can expect to command a salary between £35,000 - £38,000.
