Your new role
My client is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their UK head-office in Hayes. They have recently implemented a new global ERP system,
You will drive the process improvements and standardisation across EMEA, You will lead the accounting for EMEA companies, providing accurate and timely financial and management information for use both internally and externally. This role will enable the successful candidate to gain some great exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced business that can offer some brilliant career development opportunities going forwards.

Manage day-to-day operations of key functions.
Business partner with multiple stakeholders in the business
Ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet
Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts
P&L and Balance Sheet analyses and commentary
Cash flow forecasting and reporting
Reconciliations e. Revenue, Cash, Payroll etc.
Preparation of VAT returns / Assisting Corporation tax return preparation
Liaison with Group Auditors, preparation and filing of the statutory financial statements
Opportunities to lead/contribute in group-wide initiatives e., Treasury, M&A Due-Diligence and Post-acquisition Integration, SOX, Transfer Pricing, Corporate Cards, Procurement, Driving Synergies etc.
Development and implementation of accounting policies, robust systems, processes and internal controls, process standardisation, building efficiency model, automation of the processes.
Occasional travel (UK and international)

What you'll need to succeed
What we are looking for?
Exposure to Financial and Management Accounting including Statutory Accounts and FX
Qualified accountant, ACA or ACCA with Audit experience
Technically and Commercially orientated
Problem solving skills
Strong Microsoft Office especially Excel (advance skills)
ERP experience
Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS


Desirable
Audit background with subsequent commercial experience
IFRS / US GAAP
Technology sector
