Tax Manager

A prestigious organisation based in Woking who are looking to recruit a Tax Manager who will be reporting in to the Head of Tax and Risk.

Tax Manager - About The Role

You will be working for a prestigious business that are looking to appoint a Tax Manager that will come from Industry or Practice background.  This position will suit a commercially strong individual who will form part of the Tax & Risk team.

• Management of VAT/GST compliance is multiple jurisdictions, including filing of returns, advising on structure, and VAT tax planning.
• Assist with the global tax reporting (both internal and outsourced) for all internal group reporting and financial statements.
• Monitor the status of the global corporate income tax compliance, including audits and enquiries, providing guidance as required to the business and liaising with external advisors to ensure that tax liabilities are minimised wherever possible whilst complying with current tax law.
• UK corporation tax compliance, including claims and elections
• Involvement with R&D claims and Patent Box claims.
• Supporting the Head of Tax and Risk in UK corporation tax communications with HMRC including preparation of correspondence to resolve queries, and active participation in meetings.
• Involvement with strategic tax planning, transfer pricing policies, employment tax issues and VAT.

The successful Tax Manager will have:

• CTA / ACA or ACCA qualified
• A solid indirect tax background, gained in Practice or Industry
• Previous experience of International Tax
• Experience of Corporation Tax, Transfer Pricing, Treasury
