A dynamic and growing B2B / B2C utilities business are looking for a Finance Business Partner to assist the Head of Accounting to join their rapidly growing team. A newly created role to the business, means there will a bit of evolution, and makes this a really exciting time to join my clients awesome team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly management accounts to internal and external Stakeholders - including insightful analysis and commentary on Revenue, Gross Margin, Opex, Projects, Capex and KPIs
• Management and effective close of the month end process ensuring all deadlines are met
• Management of all Accounting across the Group, including, Revenue Recognition, Assets, Stock and WIP
• Develop, deliver and maintain robust accounting systems & processes to ensure the integrity of day to day accounting
• Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to support the production of Statutory Accounts and the annual External Audit
• People management of a small team of Finance Analysts and Assistant Accountants

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
• Graduate level qualification or equivalent
• Team Management experience, ability to demonstrate development and nurturing of team
• Technical and Commercial acumen
• Experience of transforming manual processes to automated
• Can drive efficiency with an analytical mind-set
• Experience ideally withRetail, FMCG or Utilities sector would be advantageous

PACKAGE:

• Basic Salary £45,000 - £55,000
• 10% Bonus
• Pension
