Finance Manager

Pratap Partnership is delighted to be working exclusively with a leading business in the Leeds area as they look to grow their business and embark on an exciting new venture within the Group.

Due to supplier demand this business is expanding its Leeds operation and is now in need of an energetic and driven Finance Manager/Financial Controller. The business needs someone who can roll their sleeves up and be extremely hands on in their approach but also have a strong professional and commercial mind to work with the shareholders in driving business performance.

The job is very varied and will provide lots of challenges but ultimately will have the full support of the MD and you will work closely with the SMT to achieve business growth. As Finance Manager your job will  include:

• Implementation of a new accounts system
• Developing and implementing robust controls and processes
• Managing a £15 - £20m capital expenditure program
• Daily, weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
• Reporting for the board
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of statutory accounts and running the audit
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of tax and VAT returns

You will be a qualified accountant ( ACA preferable)  and be able to demonstrate a strong academic background. This role is very open to First/2nd time movers straight from practice and is an exciting and challenging role for someone who really wants to make a difference.
