Senior Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant/Finance Manager to join a high growth Service Provider within the Legal Sector based in the city centre of Manchester. The successful candidate will be working in a team of two under the MD but with huge growth in the last 12 months, the company are due to triple in turnover in the next 18 months making this a brilliant time to join!

Within this role, you will be reporting to and assisting the Managing Director/external Accountants in the production of monthly management accounts. You will take a high degree of responsibility for the accounting function and therefore enjoy a well-rounded role that will give you a high degree of practical exposure.

Responsibilities include:

• Main point of contact for all finance-related queries and processes
• Presenting financial performance during monthly board meetings
• Preparation of Monthly Management Account Packs
• Analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts
• Variance analysis/reporting
• Budgeting and forecast process
• Accruals and pre-payments
• Management of payroll to external accountants
• You will play a part in streamlining and ultimately improving processes

Requirements:

• PQ/Finalist Accountant in either ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE with relevant experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Highly commercial and analytical
• Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment
