Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant - Recently Qualified ACA, ACCA , CA ( or international equivalent)

£50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits and bonus

Based East London

New, small, niche practice firm with clients primarily within the crypto, gaming and entertainment sectors are now looking to hire a Senior Accountant into their London office.The company has recently experienced a huge surge in their volume of business in what is an exciting and fast moving environment.They are branching out into other international territories  and this is a new position.The main duties of the Senior Accountant will be to ask as an outsourcing partner to clients and your duties will include:

• Preparation of timely and accurate financial statements
• Preparation of management accounts
• Assist the directors with business development
• Purchase, sales and general ledger entries
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Supervising junior members of staff
• Liaising with banks, brokers and payment service providers
• Working closely with the international accountant on international assignments

Senior Accountant - requirements

• Recently Qualified ACA or ACCA (or international equivalent)
• 3-8 years experience of working in a practice firm
• Experience of FRS 102 and IFRS
• Knowledge of Xero is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous cryptocurrency experience useful but by no means essential.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise
• A good sense of humour
