Interim Reporting Accountant

SF Recruitment are currently sourcing an Interim Reporting Accountant to support the Finance Director of a market leading business with the following duties:

- To plan, organise and manage the operations of the divisional performance management team
- Ensuring reporting of all divisional internal control matters completed in accurate and timely manner
- Liaising with external and internal audit teams to ensure all audits are progressed to spec and on time
- Supporting all divisional managers and teams in the identification, reporting and management of risk including the development of policies and reporting mechanisms
- Management of on- boarding and off- boarding process including liaison with third parties to ensure carried out in the most efficient and accurate method
- Lead divisional internal audits across the team to establish improvement to processes and controls
- To champion the divisional continuous improvement policies including an active role in the performance improvement team and its objectives

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) with experience in risk, controls and process improvement. This opportunity is being offered on an initial 6 month basis with a high potential for further projects to follow.
