You will be joining the Edinburgh office of a global firm offering a range of Assurance, Tax and Advisory services to a wide array of clients, who are mostly Scottish-based. They are the market-leaders for Deals Advisory and work on transactions worth up to £100 million. Your new role
You will be joining the Transaction Services team, working alongside the Manager as part of a small, friendly team. Your role will predominantly involve carrying out financial analysis to understand the performance and position of businesses and undertaking investigations to understand the key commercial drivers and risks associated with them. You will be responsible for drafting financial due diligence and report writing. You will need to be able to determine the different drives of internal and external stakeholders and to manage these appropriately. You will be assisting in leading the team, so will be coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Newly-Qualified or soon-to-be Qualified ACCA/CA (or equivalent) from an Audit or Advisory background. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. As you will be working directly with the clients you shall be confident at building and maintaining positive relationships. You will need to display strong commercial, financial and analytical skills. You will be articulate in your report writing, and will never compromise quality.
