Partner Financial are engaged with a PE backed restaurant group embarking on a period of double-digit growth. Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, you will have ownership of the analytics process as the company look to put a new strategic plan in place.

With an entrepreneurial Board and acquisitive strategy, the Senior Management Team are keen to build a best in class finance function to be the focal point of their goals. You will have strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills, with a natural ability to solve problems, challenge and ask the right questions.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working alongside the Finance Director to manage and maintain the 3-year business plan and model to help visualise the company’s plans
  • Providing insightful commercial and trend analysis to help ascertain the viability of new sites and products
  • Devising product sales and volume forecasts to assess the risk for franchisees
  • Manipulating data to present recommendations for promotional and product strategies
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process with key stakeholders
  • Understanding the key factors impacting sales and explaining them to the Senior Management Team
  • Creating and reviewing the control reports on actual v forecasted weekly gross margins and highlighting variances

Profile:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Strong Excel skills (including macros and building financial models)
  • An inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement
