Group Reporting Accountant

We are representing a global client within the media and advertising space. They are looking for a Group Accountant to join their growing finance division and play a fundamental role in the delivery of monthly group consolidated reporting across multiple business units.
The role:

• Responsible for the monthly group consolidation across multiple business units
• Collaboration with other functions including Tax, Legal, Treasury and FP&A across a number of deliverables
• Supporting on technical US GAAP accounting assessments
• Supporting on the preparation of quarterly Revenue and Lease disclosure templates to senior Finance stakeholders in the US for inclusion in external filings
• Supporting on the reporting and execution of cross-border loan transactions
• Supporting on the preparation of monthly working capital reviews
• Providing ad-hoc support to the Group Reporting Manager
• Inputs into group intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Supporting on corporate transactions
• Supporting on a number of key projects

The candidate:

• A qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, with sufficient post-qualified experience
• IFRS, and ideally US Gaap, technical accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (e. pivot tables, v-lookup, SumIFs, indirect formulas, nested IF/OR statements, Power Pivot)
• Proven experience in a Group Finance function and working/developing within an international corporate environment
• Strong interpersonal partnership skills as this person will be working with business managers on a daily basis
• Problem solving mentality
• "Can do" positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm
