Award winning PLC with an impressive track record of employee development, promotion and retention have a newly created opportunity for a confident qualified finance professional (ACCA / ACA or equivalent) to join the team in Harrow.

You will lead the financial accounting team for the site locally (circa £100m turnover business) and support the Financial Controller in ensuring;

·         Continuous improvement projects are well managed – financial systems, processes and controls are the very best they can be for this growing business

·         Month end is well managed and the team are motivated, coached, supported and developed

·         Processes and controls are fit for purpose

·         Rolling forecasting is accurate and credible

·         Performance reporting is delivered in a timely manner

·         Working capital is well managed and understood

·         Group reporting is delivered on a timely basis

The business is expanding and you will enjoy playing an integral role in developing systems, processes, controls and reporting to suit the needs of the expanding group.

You will enjoy plenty of autonomy coupled with valuable support and guidance wherever required.

You will need:

·         A professional qualification (ACCA / ACA) and demonstrable experience at Financial Accountant / Finance Manager level [1^st step from practice may be considered].

·         Excellent communication / interpersonal skills and an ability to engage and lead the team.

·         A can-do attitude when it comes to making improvements and encouraging best-practice.

·         A track record of making a positive difference – you will need to be someone who takes pride in streamlining processes and making a positive impact.
