My Warrington based client, a large multinational service-based organisation is looking for CIMA/ACCA finalist level Management Accountant to take ownership of reporting for several European entities. Reporting to the Finance Manager and managing a team of 2, the Management Accountant will work closely with senior finance and local teams to drive process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Direct line management of two European team members
- Ownership of management reporting for specified entities and explanations of variances to budget/forecast/prior months
- Working closely with the UK Financial Controller and UK/ European Finance Manager
- Support to Regional Commercial Controller
- Support the region in budgeting and cashflow forecasting
- Building relationships
- Taking a lead on implementing improvements to financial procedures and controls
- Coaching junior members of the team
- Review and analysis of balance sheet
- Work with Group Reporting team and Group Tax Manager to ensure compliance with local financial reporting and tax requirements
- Adhoc project work as required and to support development
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, recently qualified (or finalist) Management Accountant with a keen eye for detail and excellent IT skills. You will have experience of working in a large, fast paced, multi-national organisation however, candidates from a smaller entity will not be discounted.
