Our FTSE client require an Interim Senior Group Financial Accountant for 3-6 months, based in Berkshire and reporting into the Group FC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the IFRS16 project through to completion, working closely with the transactional service team to finalise all impacts and required changes
- Assist throughout the month-end close, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of month-end accounts and analysis using Hyperion
- Support upcoming acquisitions across the Group by providing technical advice (IFRS 3)
- Provide ad-hoc support to Group accounting activities across reporting and technical knowledge to drive greater accountability across the Group
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA etc.)
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of IFRS16 and IFRS 2/3
- Strong systems knowledge of Hyperion
- Hands-on ability to work autonomously within an ambiguous environment
