Management Accountant

An exciting, challenging new role for a qualified or part-qualified Management Accountant to work within an interesting and diverse manufacturing environment. Based in Ryedale on the outskirts of York, North Yorkshire. Good office environment, a competitive salary, good holidays, on-site free parking, life assurance and competitive pension.

• This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Management Accountant who is CIMA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• You will be a team player able to work with colleagues across the business supporting with budgeting, forecasting, costings, variances and cash flow forecasting

Duties for the Management Accountant role will include:

• Producing annual budgets, and provide rolling monthly forecasts
• Work in partnership with non-financial colleagues to manage variances to budget and take corrective action where required
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting
• Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Being technically strong with advanced systems expertise including advanced Excel

As Finance Manager you will need the following:

• An advanced level of MS Excel
• CIMA or ACCA qualified or part qualified - study support can be provided
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good team working with excellent communication skills
