We are currently looking for a management accountant to work for a leading Financial Services business in the City. As one of the companies' Management Accountants , you will be joining the Finance department to support over a 9 month period. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finalist/newly chartered accountant to be a part of a change-oriented, vibrant and friendly environment as well as add valuable industry experience to their CV.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant role include:
- Supporting the senior accountant in managing the company's expense budget
- Preparing annual budgets and forecasts
- Providing accurate and timely monthly reports
- Assist with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly expense reports and variance analysis against budget
- Communicating with various stakeholders and creating an understanding of their cost base
Capabilities of the Management Accountant role include:
- Finalist or Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Excel proficient and highly analytical
- Financial Services background
- Exposure to Oracle and a change environment beneficial but not necessary
