The business has benefited from pro-active strategic decisions taken over recent years in several areas including digitisation, e-commerce and technology. About the role

This is a critical role partnering digital, marketing and other commercial functions. Due to the main functional stakeholders of this role, is essential to have first class commercial acumen, communication and presentation ability.

The successful candidate will ensure that complex and detailed financial information can be conveyed effectively to a wide ranging audience. This is a rapidly moving business where meetings don't happen for meeting's sake, it's about the customer and being ahead of the competition, if strategy or direction needs to change, it does so very quickly.

The finance analyst will provide support and provide analysis to several non-finance teams, aiding decision making, contributing to the definition of financial targets and then supporting delivery of results.

Key responsibilities

• Work with non-finance teams to provide comprehensive commercial forecasts
• Provide accurate analysis to aid commercial decision making
• Support and challenge non-finance stakeholders to drive greater efficiency and improve profitability
• Ownership of key models and performance analysis
• Business partner the team to help deliver the business plan(s), highlight opportunities, challenges and any issues
• Presentation and provision of excellent reporting at team meetings
• Support budgeting process
• Help to improve sales growth
• Commercial decision support

Person profile

• CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified
• Experience within a fast paced, high volume environment closely linked with retail & consumer markets
• Strong IT skills including advanced excel including modelling
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment with ever-changing priorities
