The Role

Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager this is a high-profile role, in a fast-moving complex business, which is starting the next stage in its growth. You will provide financial and decision making support to a number of senior finance and non-finance stakeholders to drive sustainable profitability.

This role will work with the business to proactively challenge cost across a multi-million pound cost base, by implementing and measuring performance against KPI's and financially appraising new initiatives. Increasing the customer product offerings is high on the agenda and this role will be crucial in refining processes and improving analytics.

No day will be the same, but as we all know there are things that will be considered the "day to day" responsibilities:

  • Attending and supporting the delivery of monthly performance meetings with business stakeholders
  • Lead in the production of timely monthly analytical reports with commentary and supporting the delivery of month-end accounts
  • Playing a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process, analysing and building models, and presenting the outputs to help drive informed decision making.
  • Financially modelling and appraising new initiatives; creating investment cases backed by clear proof points

The Person

Ideally qualified you will be a people focused, inquisitive, and commercial thinker who is equally comfortable both in the detail and at the high level. You will be an excellent communicator with demonstrable experience of business partnering stakeholders at various levels, across multiple departments. A good understanding of producing, working with, and improving financial models will be a massive plus, but the ability to add quality narrative to these will stand you apart from the rest.

The Reward

A salary of up to £55,000 is on offer.
