An international fashion retail brand is looking to hire a driven Credit Controller fluent in German or able to speak German to a business standard. Based in Fulham, South London, this Credit Control position is offered full-time on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting to the credit control manager, the core duties of your new role as Credit Controller will include:

• Calling customers for payment and receiving payments in a prompt fashion
• Collection of any outstanding debt
• Liaising with German purchasing groups
• Pulling credit reports when needed
• Resolving and retaining discrepancies for returned stock
• Accurately inputting data onto financial systems
• Managing credit check process
• Maintaining relationships with retailers
• Monitoring order processes and working with production, logistics and payment teams
• Sending out invoices in English and German

Candidate profile

To be successful in your application to this Credit Control position it is essential that you demonstrate:

• At least 6 months of experience in a professional B2B environment
• The ability to speak German

Additionally, the business is ideally looking for a Credit Controller who has:

• Experience in a busy retail or fashion product-based business
• Confident telephone skills
• A positive attitude and approach to customer service

Candidates who have customer service experience and recent graduates with some professional experience will be considered for this credit control vacancy.
