EMEA Assistant Controller job based in West Sussex, paying circa £55k

You will working for an prestigious and highly respected company within the manufacturing sector, based in West Sussex, reporting to the EMEA Controller.

Your new role
Your role will involve preparation and completion of timely annual financial statements, year-end audit work, supporting the completion of the monthly management accounts, and assisting with other ad-hoc accounting tasks within the Group. Your key responsibilities will include preparation of company and consolidated financial reports, ensuring procedures and processes meet audit standards and are adapted following the introduction of new accounting standards, preparation of tax returns and assisting with tax queries, and assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), ideally practice trained, with experience of international consolidations under IFRS. Exposure to the manufacturing sector would be beneficial.
