CFO

CFO – Construction - North London - £85K-£100K  

We are currently partnering a well-respected Construction business based in North London. The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years and the management team has decided that now is the time to bolster the team with the addition of a CFO.

The primary purpose of the CFO will be to support the growth and development of the business from a strategic and financial perspective, but given the size of the business, there is the opportunity for the successful individual to wear many hats.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Implementation, improvement and streamlining of necessary processes
• Group budgeting & forecasting
• Being an effective business partner and advisor to the CEO
• Responsibility for preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Management and development of a small team, including training and recruitment of new members
• Responsibility for full audit process, including regular liaison with external auditors
• Maintenance of balance sheet
• Project Accounting responsibility
• Various ad hoc  tasks

The ideal individual will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant experience within the Construction/Engineering space.  This role would suit someone either looking for their first step up to CFO or equally someone who’s an already established FD/CFO.
