Venn Group are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant for a large, established business based in Hinckley. This role is an 18-24 month fixed term contract with a likely extension.
Key duties include
- Reviewing contracts to extract data and spot errors
- Getting involved with IFRS16 reporting
- Utilising ad hoc reporting and different projects within the team for decision making
- Looking for embedded leases to put into balance sheets
- Managing and assisting in project work with other departments
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess a keen eye for detail
- Be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Have a solid understanding of IFRS reporting standards
- Have strong technical knowledge
- Be experienced in projects
- Able to work to tight deadlines and work as a team player
