Assistant Accountant- Insurance Broker- City of London- £30-32,000 + study support

Your new role
This is a new role to join the core finance team of 6 headed up by the group FC. This position offers a broad range of duties suitable fr someone who has solid processing experience but has also touched on month end and management accounts. Duties will include:
- Managing Purchase ledger invoices
- Processing weekly payments
- Month end accruals
- Query resolution- in relation to purchase and sales ledger
- Posting receipts
- Ad-Hoc reporting
- Assisting with Monthly Management Accounts for month end
- Bank reconciliations for multiple entities in multiple currencies
- Client money calculations
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have solid invoice processing and reconciliation experience. You will need to be a self starter and happy to get involved with all areas of this role. You will have a positive attitude and will be keen to get involved with more management accounts experience. This role would suit an ACCA or CIMA studier.
