Your new firm
A firm of Chartered Accountants and business advisers, based in Wigan, are looking to appoint two qualified accountants to bolster their management team following a period of sustained growth over 2018. The firm are one of the longest established practices in the Lancashire area and operate in modern offices. The firm would like to appoint two Audit & Accounts Supervisors or qualified seniors and part time or full time applications will be considered.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Supervisor you will be responsible for working with a portfolio of limited companies ranging in size and sectors. In this role you will be responsible for managing workflow, delegating and reviewing juniors work and preparing statutory accounts including some consolidation work along with corporation tax computations. Ideally you will also be able to absorb some audit assignments into your portfolio. You will be responsible for develop the client relationship and will therefore be responsible for meeting with clients and maintaining regular contact.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking two qualified accountants (ACA / ACCA) who have trained within general practice and have a proven track record of successfully managing their workload. This is a great opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to develop their managerial skills gaining both staff and portfolio management experience. Ideally you will live locally to Wigan and both part time and full time application will be considered however working hours must be upwards of 25 per week.
