This position has significant exposure to numerous Divisional CFO's and will therefore act as a great position from which to progress into 'line of business' or within Group. US GAAP/SOX experience is a prerequisite. Either coming direct from Big 4 (Senior Manager level) or a second time mover from practice and someone who will be comfortable developing very progressive team (4).
Some key responsibilities:
- Collaborating with International CFOs to develop restructuring cases for senior management approval
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting, daily transactions and cost management for HQ corporate cost centre, and wider support of Group FP&A
- Technical US GAAP for the group on a regular basis including new accounting pronouncements
- Leading group consolidation for the 22 International Business Units operating UK, EMEA and APAC
- Working alongside HR and senior executive management to set compensation and reward schemes, and providing other support wherever required
- Partnership with Tax and Legal on a number of matters close and non-close related
