Your new firm
A Top 100 firm of Chartered Accountants based in Northwich, Cheshire are looking to appoint an Assistant Manager or Accounts Manager (ACA / ACCA qualified) to join their general practice team. This job opportunity is to support the partner with the management of a portfolio of clients and is a great step for someone looking to develop their managerial skill set. The firm will consider applications working 4 days a week or full time.

Your new role

As an Accounts Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients consisting of OMBs, charities and partnerships and delivering a range of compliance and advisory services. Your job duties will include planning assignments, managing budgets, delegating and reviewing work, leading client meetings and providing advice to the clients. You will work with the other managers to develop and mentor the team whilst they are studying towards their formal qualifications.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has at least twelve months post qualification experience working within a fast paced general practice. The firm will consider assistant managers who have developed some supervisory experience and are looking to take the next step up or experienced managers looking for a fresh challenge.
