Your new firm
A well established reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based on the outskirts of Liverpool City Centre are looking to appoint a newly qualified accountant to join their corporate team following a period of sustained growth. The firm are a medium size independent firm of accountants that provide a broad range of general practice services and act as business advisers to their clients.

Your new role
As an Accounts & Audit Senior you will be responsible for delivering statutory audit assignments and statutory year end accounts production, supervising and developing team members, special assignments including forensic work, management accounts business plans, corporation tax computations and Xero conversions out on client site. As a senior you will operate as a business adviser working with a broad range of sole traders, partnerships, SMEs and OMBs to provide a 360 accounting and tax service. Your client portfolio will be broad and varied including limited companies, LLPs, charities, groups and solicitors.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint an experienced general practitioner who is ideally ACA / ACCA qualified with strong accounting and analytical skills and have gained at least three years experience working in general practice. You must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team. Any exposure to cloud accounting software or audit work would be advantageous as the firm use Sage, Xero and Quickbooks to assist their clients.
