Financial Reporting Manager

Financial Reporting Manager required imminently for my Warwickshire based client. My client is looking to recruit this role on a 12 month fixed term contract. Directly reporting into the Head of Finance, this role will be responsible for managing and controlling the production of financial data and returns to comply with all regulatory and internal reporting requirements. This role requires to provide technical financial insight to guide business decisions.

My client is looking for a qualified accountant with experience within a similar role. Knowledge of relevant accountancy principles and practices, management accounts and regulatory and statutory requirements is essential. A good knowledge of Finance systems, ability to apply numeracy & communication skills and somebody with good interpersonal skills is also key. I am looking for somebody with the ability to explain complex financial information in written and verbal form to financial and non-financial people.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Plan, manage & review the production of financial data and reports
• Develop & monitor processes, systems and controls
• Guide & advise on financial reporting matters
• Assess the financial impact of legal and regulatory changes
• Plan, forecast and monitor capital resources
• Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports
• Deliver short term / one-off projects
