The Opportunity

Large construction group have a requirement for a confident and talented finalist / newly qualified Management Accountant within a key facilities management subsidiary based in West Yorkshire.

The business has recently experienced an injection of major investment and is poised for a period of rapid growth.  You will enjoy playing a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Director on the journey.  Over the next 2 – 5 years you will gain valuable and interesting exposure to a host of continuous improvement projects.

Your core remit as Management Accountant will focus around preparation and presentation of full and detailed management accounts / board packs and associated business partnering.

You will play an integral role in supporting budget holders to develop a real time understanding of their numbers – helping deliver insight around trends, risk and opportunities and ultimately assisting in driving improved performance.

You will be channeled into the role of Financial Controller.

The Business are looking for:

A Management Accountant who has:

• Completed or approaching completion of ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• A track record of success in a position involving management accounts production.
• Ability to demonstrate experience of implementing robust controls, developing reporting and supporting non finance colleagues to better understand the numbers.
• A real attention to detail and confidence in your analytical skills.
• Drive to complete a task to the best of your ability within business-critical timeframes.
