Finance Analyst

Investigo are currently working with a leading Energies & Services business to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production and management of timely/accurate/compliant monthly financial results (P&L and balance sheet)
• Manage the forecasting exercises and risk analysis
• Monitor, track and analyse the operational expenses in the month and recommend efficiency's where possible
• Produce elements and compile from sources the month-end reporting pack for company and group level consumption
• Presenting meaningful trends and variance analysis to enable customers to make informed decisions
• Production and analysis of indicators based on all areas of the business, such as invoicing, debt, personnel, purchasing, allocations and stock control
• Conducting commercial reviews at contract level with relevant budget holders to review the key financial indicators and adherence to company procedures
• Preparation of monthly core service fee invoice and other invoices based on contractual information and operational records
• Monitoring and chasing debt with clients and optimising cash flows in accordance with contractual arrangements
• Assisting in the review and production of financial information produced for client
• Leading with input from relevant budget holders, preparation of budgets and forecasts for the contracts
• Preparation and reviewing pricing of variation quotations, driving initiatives for income maximisation
• Liaise with other relevant departments and/or contract

Experience/Skills

• Previous Finance Analyst experience up to 2 years is essential.
• Background from Energy is desirable
• Effective communicator and confident to take on operational duties
• Diligent, proactive and good interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi task
• MUST be able to travel and involved regular travel to sites
• Expedience of financial information to support management
• capable of reviewing and analysing complex financial data
