Interim Financial Control Accountant

Partner Financial are seeking an experienced Interim Controls Accountant for a Global organisation. The business is a genuine World-leader within their sector and has a strong international brand name. They are aligned with several high-growth markets and offer a range of truly innovative services used by a diverse range of end customers.

The successful candidate will be supporting process standardisation and process development, reviewing and developing robust financial controls and processes following the implementation of new ERP system.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Designing and implementing a robust global control across a large business division;
• Documenting process flows and ensuring that controls are in place to mitigate risk;
• Challenge and drive the Financial Control methodologies forwards, expanding it to include broader risk across the group;
• Working with stakeholders including: Operations, Finance, HR and IT, reviewing risks and controls and identifying gaps and opportunities;
• Working with Internal Audit and external auditors to ensure the controls framework meets the needs of the business and ensures an efficient external audit process.

Key Experience:

• A Big 4 or Top 10 trained qualified accountant / auditor with demonstrable post-qualified experience gained within a large company environment;
• Experience of the review and development of internal processes in a global organisation – this would suit an individual who has previously worked within a finance function and led on financial controls, processes and systems improvements;
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
