Head of Shared Service

Our client is a multi £bn t/o group, and have consolidated their position as one of the leading B2B players in their sector. Based at their UK headquarters and part of a large Shared Service Centre, they are keen to attract a high calibre Head of Shared Services to join their team.

The Head of SSC holds a critical position in the leadership team, and responsibilities include:

- Play an active part in the leadership team, offering strategic input across the group
- Managing a large indirect team, spread across several functional support areas
- Develop and empower immediate management team
- Support managers to ensure opportunities are maximised, budgets are achieved and risks are mitigated
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to improve quality and efficiencies or process
- Lead on-boarding process including managing relationship with third party providers
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver a new software platform

Profile

- Proven experience of leadership role in multi-disciplinary environment with excellent line management experience
- 5+ years of management experience in finance and strong leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
