Financial Controller

Partner Financial are working with a fast growth, PE backed Media business based in Central London. This is an exciting time for the business and the Financial Controller will be pivotal to the business achieving its aggressive growth strategy.

Reporting to the Financial Director, this opportunity has been created to deliver both the financial and commercial agenda. You will be driven, ambitious and someone who thrives when given the opportunity to take ownership for key relationships both internally and externally.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Financial Director with the delivery of controls;
• Developing best practices across the business; continually reviewing the processes and procedures to maximise impact and efficiency;
• Managing the quarterly and yearly statutory audits and reviews under IFRS;
• Supporting the key stakeholders with the budgeting and forecasting process;
• Preparing the business KPIs and producing data and business analysis;
• Attending meetings with the senior management team to discuss and present the financials;
• Leading the finance team and developing automated and controlled finance processes;
• Developing the finance team members careers through succession and monthly, quarterly and yearly performance reviews;
• Involved with ad-hoc projects assigned by the senior leadership team.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Chartered Accountant (ACA, CA) form a top tier firm;
• Experience within a technology business is essential;
• A proven track record of working in a fast growth business;
• Proven experience of improving processes and controls;
• Previous experience managing a large accounting team, including transactional finance;
• Ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
